Hindu Heritage Youth Camp: A Summer to Remember Powered by New India Abroad

Every summer, as school ends and Texas heats up, hundreds of kids count down to one incredible week: Hindu Heritage Youth Camp (HHYC). For many, it’s a first-time adventure. For others, it’s a cherished return to a place that feels like ghar—home.

Now in its 41st year, HHYC is more than a summer camp. It’s a celebration of Hindu heritage, filled with Garba, Holi, yoga, Shakha, and deep friendships. With 342 campers and over 80 passionate counselors, the 2025 camp was held at the community’s very own Texas Hindu Campsite.

New India Abroad proudly supports stories like HHYC—where culture, joy, and youth leadership come together to build the next generation with pride and purpose.
