Argentina Wins Double Gold at Pan American Cup 2025

Former Olympic champions Argentina have secured both the men’s and women’s titles at the Pan American Cup Hockey Tournaments held in Montevideo, Uruguay, on August 3. With these victories, Argentina qualifies for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cups, co-hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands.

In the men's final, Argentina crushed the USA 10-0, while the women defeated the USA 3-0. The USA women also secured World Cup qualification as Argentina had already qualified via the FIH Pro League.

Canada’s men won bronze but missed qualification. Both Canadian and U.S. squads featured players of Indian origin. Argentina’s Tomas Domene was the tournament top scorer, celebrating his 100th cap during the campaign. Argentina reaffirmed its dominance in American hockey.
