Indiaspora and the India Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) are coming together to host the highly anticipated Philanthropy Summit 2025, scheduled to take place on October 2nd—Gandhi Jayanti—at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, California.

This invitation-only summit will bring together a powerful network of visionary philanthropists, nonprofit leaders, and foundation heads who are deeply committed to India-focused initiatives and impactful giving. In a statement, Indiaspora emphasized the symbolic value of the event’s date, noting that “it is a date that resonates deeply with our shared commitment to service and positive social impact.”

One of the distinguished speakers at the summit will be Desh Deshpande, President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC, widely recognized for his philanthropic efforts and business leadership.

IPA is a coalition of 21 philanthropic and nonprofit organizations that collectively raise over $250 million annually, including more than $100 million in the U.S. alone, to support evidence-based development and humanitarian programs in India. Their key supporters include Indian-American entrepreneurs, professionals, and multinational corporations operating across India and the U.S.

Collectively, these 21 member organizations have positively impacted over 70 million lives through their work in education, healthcare, livelihood, agriculture, water management, and more.

Individuals hoping to attend the Indiaspora-IPA Philanthropy Summit 2025 can register through the official Indiaspora website.
