Air India Plane Crash in Ahmedabad Leaves 265 Dead – Reported by New India Abroad

 

On June 12, an Air India plane crash shook the city of Ahmedabad when a London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner slammed into a residential area, killing at least 265 people, including passengers, crew, and residents. According to New India Abroad, one passenger is believed to have survived. The aircraft, carrying 242 people, crashed around lunchtime. Bodies were seen being recovered, and part of the plane hung from a damaged building. Authorities have launched a formal investigation, while rescue teams worked overnight, using sniffer dogs to search through the charred wreckage for any signs of life or further victims.
